When I visit some friend's ranch in Central Texas I pass an old barn. It looks worn out but strong. The sunny colors of a late spring light up the scene, making you feel a bit nostalgic. Around the barn, the fields are full of bright green and yellow colors, showing how lively it is in summer. My painting brings out the peaceful and beautiful side of life in rural Texas.
